I don’t know why I’m so taken by the sight of a wah-wah pedal in a metal other than its standard finish, but here we are.
Theoretically and historically, Vox and Crybaby wahs sound the same; it was just a difference of regional packaging, with the same guts producing that classic whine. I still say Voxes sound better, so it’s apropos that this V847G takes the gold and its Crybaby 535Q cousin gets the silver.
